I think you are right that we are "goal oriented organisms in a cyclical, circular, reciprocal, feedback generated reality..." I would add that Western perception of time is linear, Eastern (especially Hindu) perception of time is cyclical. The former helps us with our day to day affairs, the latter helps us become aware of the cosmic dimension of existence. The other points you make are well-taken.
